Dislikes:  Baked beans.

I have grown up in a house divided – my dad a loyal punk taking me to my first Buzzcocks gig aged 13 and my mum a devoted disco-queen helping me to fall in love with the likes of Luther Vandross and Chic whilst teaching me to walk.

I suppose it is no surprise that today my music taste is an eclectic assortment of genres.

I am recent Modern Languages and English graduate and my degree – I am passionate about all things music and cinema specifically A24. I am currently a freelance journalist / librarian, when I am not surrounded by novels and OAPs – I am writing at any given opportunity. I love all things literature especially reading because it gives me the opportunity to learn about different peoples experiences – one of my favourite parts of life!

I am creatively driven and committed to producing engaging and informative content for IAMUR. I love that IAMUR places emphasis on the underground music scene and it is such a privilege to broaden my journalistic horizons by reading articles by my incredible colleagues. It is so exciting to have the opportunity to listen and write about new and emerging talents – how cool!
