The Opinion Industry release new single, ‘Karen’

Sydney based Alt Rockers, The Opinion Industryhave unleashed their new single and music video called ‘KAREN’. The release was premiered via Triple M and Scenestr. This release marks the third offering from the band’s forthcoming debut EP, which was recorded with producer Mitta Norath at Tommirock Studios. The debut EP is set for release in 2022. 

“No one likes a Karen and a Karen doesn’t want to be one – stereotypes were used and some liberties were taken to stretch out the comedy of it all. The overarching message of the song is to remind people to be kinder.”

The music video for ‘KAREN’ is an elaborate comic style visual that draws influence from ‘Do The Evolution‘ by Pearl Jam.  The masterpiece features hand drawn images that took around 6 months to complete and were edited by band member Benny Mac. 

The Opinion Industry recently released their debut single and music video called ‘OPINIONS’. The single was aired on well over 50 radio stations across the globe, including airplay on Triple M.

The breakout track received stellar reviews from the likes of Tone DeafHysteria MagAAA BackstageSatchel (Steel Panther), and many more. New single ‘KAREN’ is available for streaming and download on all major online stores.

Having played for many years in successful Australian bands like Sleight Of Hand and Code Atlantic, the three close and respected friends have decided to come out of hiding and make a big impression together in the new digital age with something to say. The boys teamed up with producer Mitta Norath at Tommirock Studios to record their debut EP, which is set for release later in 2022.
