Morrisson releases new single ‘Live By The Gun’
Today, East London rapper and artist Morrisson has dropped his eagerly anticipated new single ‘Live By The Gun’ accompanied by an official self-directed video.
Produced by Steel Banglez, ‘Live By The Gun’ showcases Morrisson’s introspective wordplay, touching on his upbringing, family, and transition to full-time musician. The track is a continuation of the prominent rapper’s unstoppable formula of hard-hitting bars and real-life lyrics.
‘Live By The Gun’ follows Morrisson’s debut EP ‘Guilty’ released earlier this year, which featured collaborations with some of the UK’s best and brightest talent including Aitch, Loski, Harry James, Steel Banglez, and more. The project was heavily supported by BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra (playlist), Capital Xtra, Kiss Fresh, as well as key tastemakers including Complex UK, Evening Standard, GRM, Trench, Music Week, Notion, and more.
This summer, Morrisson also had a series of key collaborations, featuring on ‘Blama’ alongside Steel Banglez and UK #1 rapper Tion Wayne, plus ‘Ole (We Are England)’, the England Euro’s anthem with Krept & Konan and M1llionz which was also endorsed by the likes of Raheem Sterling, Declan Rice and more.
Over the past few years, Morrisson has spread his distinctively British sound across the music landscape and is best known for contributing bangers to the UK rap scene with tracks such as ‘House & Garage’, ‘Brothers’, ‘Eastender’, ‘Bad Boy’, ‘Shots’, and ‘Gulag’ ft M24.
Expect a run of new music and exciting announcements from Morrisson as he heads into what is set to be a huge 2022. ‘Live By The Gun’ is out now.
