Australian alt-rock newcomers, Slow Cinema, release new single, ‘Faye’s Fever Flow’
Newcastle based Alternative Rock newcomers Slow Cinema have released their magnetic new single, ‘Faye’s Fever Flow’. The band have also announced a limited run of tour dates to celebrate the release, kicking off on March 10th at Frankie’s Pizza, Sydney. Slow Cinema fuse the dynamics of 90’s Alt Rock with passionate melodies and smooth, flowing rhythms.
“If Ocean Alley were fronted by a crazed Mick Jagger, it’d sound a bit like this jam. But probably not as cosmic or charismatic as Slow Cinema does.”
Al Newstead, Triple J
Long-time friends Tyler Gibbs (vocals), Tim Hill (guitar/backing vocals), Sam Lawson (guitar/backing vocals), and Jarryd Carle (drums) combined forces after being mainstays of the local music scene in Newcastle for over a decade, with their previous bands playing alongside Australian favorites Hungary Kids of Hungary, The Preatures and Wolf & Cub. Joined recently by Mitchell Sonter (bass guitar), their sound continues to evolve and grow.
The band released their debut single Howlin’ last year and have since kept busy stunning local audiences with their electric live show. New single Faye’s Fever Flow is available on all major online stores and streaming services.
