lain T. McKelvey & The Midnight Tangos release their self-titled debut EP.

Sydney based Indie Rock outfit lain T. McKelvey & The Midnight Tangos blend elements of folk, blues and classic rock. Their sound is a nuanced balance between storytelling and expansive instrumentals, boasting poignant lyricism and a feeling of common human connection.

Iain T. McKelvey debuted in 2018 with the release of his single ‘Peaches And Cream’, which was premiered via Happy Mag and received airplay across the Australia. It was in 2020, during COVID lockdown that Iain decided to form The Midnight Tangos, solidifying the project as a developed full band with a more mature sound. The band have since released multiple singles whilst electrifying audiences at venues such as The Vanguard, Waywards, The Lansdowne and more.

Their debut EP is available on all major online stores and streaming services and the band have also announced a limited run of shows to celebrate the release.
